so i found a good recourse site today, for photography, and according to it, i got lucky in my camera purchase. ended up with the ideal camera for just shooting pictures where ever and when ever. if i get into photography i'll prolly follow his suggestion to get a nikon d700 for portraits and weddings, and maybe a canon 5d mark II for scenic pics.
anyways, the site is kenrockwell.com, and it's full of advice.
on another note; i think i might take advantage of this dreary weather, and go take pictures to convert to B&W. nothing like a good overcast, or fog, to make dramatic monochrome pics. if i get anything good, you'll see them here. prolly gonna go down to fort defiance, typical, and maybe wander around town.
blah blah blah... i love shooting in RAW, but i wish it was a little quicker to upload on my comp. though it's finally done, and now i have more images to upload here, after i play with them a bit first, of course. and i still have plenty to get on here from before.
i better stop being lazy and get on that, and finish some of my digital stuff too, so i can just get them over and done with, and not have them haunting me. course, i'll never really get through all of my digital work, what with the 10 or so started, and several planned, that haven;t been started. oh well, keeps me out of trouble.
well the pics are off my camera finally, and my stomach is growling, so i'd better eat and go, before the stupid sun goes down. freakin short winter days suck!
